"Why in all nine fucking realms would you put yourself into danger like that? YOU COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED YOU STUPID GOD!" Darcy shouted at Loki, who stood in front of her. The Avengers, now including a reformed Loki, had just returned to the a Tower after a mission. The rest of the team, along with Jane and Pepper, had cleared out when Darcy caught sight of Loki.
"Do not question my decisions, Darcy. I did what had to be done in order to stop this man." he replied calmly, the only signs of anger in his accelerated breathing and flashing eyes.
"And you could have died if Thor hadn't pulled you out of the BURNING BUILDING! That you set on fire WHILE STILL INSIDE! What made you think it was a good idea to exhaust your magic like that? There were far simpler ways of stopping him, like, maybe NOT BRINGING A BUILDING DOWN ON TOP OF YOU!
"He planned to take over Midgard. Would you rather have me sit back and let him?" Loki answered. Darcy snorted.
"Why would you care what he does? Just last year, you were the crazy psycho trying to take over the world. WHY DO YOU CARE NOW?"
"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" Loki shouted, his temper getting the best of him,"Because, somehow, All-Father help me, I managed to fall in love with you over the last nine months. Because I can see our children with your eyes and our penchant for getting into mischief. Because I care for you more than I've ever cared about anyone. I want you to love me and I want to make sure you never feel unloved again. I would go to the ends of the Earth to keep you safe and unleash Hell to avenge you. Damn it, Darcy Lewis, I love you." he continued quieter p, meeting her blue eyes with his green ones. She smirked and walked closer.
"It's about damn time." she whispered before bringing his lips to hers.
Tony shut off the camera feed and spun to face the group of people behind him.
"Just so we're clear, Pointbreak, if he hurts her, I will kill him. As will everyone else in this room." he told the thunder god. Thor nodded.
"Do not worry Tony. My brother will not hurt Darcy. Loki does not profess feelings easily and for him to have done so to Dacy means he cares for her greatly." the Asgardian replied. Tony nodded and then grinned.
"Well, let's go celebrate the fact that Loki actually has a heart!"
