My lips opened ever so slightly as his lips touched mine.
The taste of his scent in my mouth was hypnotizing. With my eyes closed and his mouth covering mine, my mind was flying to dizzying heights.
Surrendering to the moment, I grabbed hold of his arms, so as to steady myself rather than fall helplessly to the ground. With this newfound stability, I was able to give in to the newfound feelings and delve deeper into the passionate embrace.
Tightening the hold I had on his biceps, I pushed myself into him to deepen the kiss, moaning slightly as his tongue entered my mouth - only after I had relaxed my tongue and let my guard down. This was obviously a green light for him, for only soon after, he pulled my face closer to his and moaned softly.
I didn't want this meeting of mouths to end, but we both needed air. As though we were reading each other's thoughts, we hesitantly pulled away from each other, although keeping our foreheads joined. As our lips parted, soft pecks kept the kissing alive.
Upon opening my eyes, I found myself drowning in a pair of soulful chocolate eyes. Feeling another wave of emotion, I glanced at his lips and went for another kiss, only to be disappointed.
Placing his index finger on my lips to stop me, I opened my eyes when I heard his voice.
"B, I want you so badly, but we're still at work. I'm sure we can continue this tonight though..." he questioned sweetly.
I looked at him innocently for a moment and in one swift movement, I covered his finger with my mouth. Holding his shocked gaze, I watched him as I sucked it gently, before sliding it out and planting a soft kiss on the fingertip.
Winking my right eye, I turned to the counter quickly, picked up my black and white cookie and walked back to where Gio was cemented to the ground.
Kissing his right cheek, I turned on my heel and headed towards the door.
"See you at 7!" I called out before walking outside - leaving him to stand there, staring at his finger, with a priceless and dumbfounded grin on his face.
