Ok here you go a new story! I know I have way too many stories but I really wanted to start this story! I hope you don't mind!
South Parker. A city that was ruled by England, which was ironically very far from it, taking a person about three weeks on ship to get to England. They did have their own navy but it was weak. Plus, no one ever wanted to come to this small abandon island.
Most of the people there dreamed of a better life but could never get one because they were so poor. Only the few rich people in town lived way up in the mountains. There they would watch the poor worked as they try to make something of themselves.
It was a stormy night when a young boy, around the age of ten, was working late trying to get the last sheep in before he could go home and dry off. The boy had blond mess hair and deep blue eyes. He was strong and brave and also a favorite with the young girls at his hometown. When he finally got the last sheep back in his pen he shut it tight and sighed, glad that it was over and he could now go home and try to get some sleep.
Just as he was about to leave someone grabbed him from behind, holding him in a iron grip. He struggled against his attacker with all his might but he couldn't break free from his grasps.
"Quit, lad, or ye tongue be the first thing I cut." The attacker said.
The young boy went deathly quiet in that moment. He was hardly breathing thinking that he did it would be the end of him.
"Now, lad, you are going to let us take your cattle. Come on in men!"
The boy's eyes went wide at what he saw. In walked in a group of pirates. He had heard tales from sailors who visited. He heard they were evil and would kill anyone in a heartbeat.
The boy watched as the pirates took the cattle, sheep, and anything else of value back to their ship. Once they have got almost all the cattle the attacker stopped them,
"Alright men that's enough. Let's go before someone catches us."
The boy had already made the guess that the man holding him was the captain. The way the crew listened to him was a dead giveaway. They left in haste so it seemed like no one was even there.
The captain let go of the boy but the blonde boy had the idea to go with this man. He could escape his awful life, since being a pirate was better than being poor all the time. Having people mock you as you walked by them, thinking less of you for being something that was out of your control.
Being a pirate, people will fear and respect you like never before. You will have people working for you instead working for people. You would be on the open sea all the time instead being stuck on this dirt pile they called an island.
"Wait!" The boy yelled just before the man walked out the door.
The captain turned around and looked at him, a bit surprised at the boy's outburst.
"Please⦠let me come with you!"
The captain burst out laughing. He laughed and laughed, like a madman would. The boy thought him might wake up the whole town if he didn't stop soon.
"Why would ye want to come with a lowly pirate?"
"I hate my life and these people! I want doing something with my life instead of wasting it here."
"The pirates' life is not all fun and games, lad. You have to be bad and kill, do ye thinks they can do that?"
"I know I can! I can prove it to you if you want!"
"Prove to me that ye are a real pirate? Don't make me laugh! There is no way ye could do it!"
"Tell me what to do and I'll do it!"
"Really?" the captain couldn't help but smirk
"Yes, I will do anything!" The lad yelled.
The captain looked at him for a long time then sighed and shook his head. He must being getting too old for making a kid do something like this, not that he really didn't care right now. He bet the boy wouldn't even have the guts to do it.
"If ye want to be a pirate then kill thy family and bring me their heads."
"Fine."
The boy walked past the captain and walked into the rainy stormy night. The captain couldn't believe his eyes at what he just saw. He shook his head thinking the kid was putting on an act pretending to brave. He laughed softly as he walked back to his ship, whistling a small tune.
Just before his ship took off the boy came back, holding something dark and bulky in his hands. The boy was too far away for the man to see but soon as he was close enough the captain gasped at what he saw. The boy blood running down his face and clothes and his hands was a man and a woman's head.
The captain got over the shock and laughed. He pulled the boy on the ship and placed his hat on his head. Patting him roughly on the back.
"You are real pirate now, my lad!" He said smiling.
They you go! I know it's short but this the prologue! A special thanks to Echi-kin for helping me with this story!
