A/N: Since Vampire Knight Guilty Episode 11 made me cry, here is a poem dedicated to Ichiru Kiryuu and his relationship to Zero. I will post my poem about Shizuka next year since I don't have a copy with me and I used it for an English project. ^_^

Moonlit Rose
A moon is a small heavenly body
Relying on the sun to shine and give light
A shadow, a follower
Just like Kiryuu Ichiru
A rose may be pure and white
Beautiful and untainted
But there are thorns that hurt when touched
Just like Ichiru Kiryuu
A twin who were just fragments
Of his other twin brother
Weak and unhealthy
But loyal and just
Now he lay on the arms of his other twin
Offering, throwing his life away
Under all the years of being under his shadow
Finally giving it all up
Yet his other twin refuses
For he can never live it down
Everytime he will remember
That he killed his own brother
But for every action
There is a reason
To live and to continue your mission
To protect the one you love
As his last breath was drawn
He told al of the truth
Of how his brother needed to kill
The one who started it all
Zero may be sad
For his beloved brother had passed
But he will keep his promise
To protect the one he loves the most
Now, everyone is waiting
For you will now rejoin
The ones you lost
The ones you love
Like the moon
Like a flower
He tried to shine on his own
But sadly, the fire had finally died
