"Call me if you need anything, Bells." My dad said for the millionth time, as he handed me my suitcases.

"I'll be fine…" I said getting irritated for repeating myself for the millionth time.

"I'm only a phone call away." He reminded me… again.

"Yeah, yeah. Now get outta here." I laughed and gave my dad a quick hug, before watching him drive away.

I turned around and looked at my new school, West Coast Academy, Home of the Falcons. Humph… great.

My dad had insisted I attend school here, since it was one of the most "Prestigious Schools in the U.S."

My dad is a retired architect, he made tons of money, and he was famous for all his work. Although, he does go abroad and does some overseeing for aspiring architects. "Amateurs" he calls them.

He and my mom divorced when I was two, so I went to Phoenix with my mom, and then she met a minor league baseball player, Phil Dwyer, and then they got married, when I turned fourteen. So then I went to live with my dad, he was already remarried to Sue Clearwater, she was cool, but I felt I was getting in the way of their relationship, so I was stuck here, three years later.

My name is Isabella Swan, rather, Bella Swan. Isabella is just too long, for my taste. I was a perfect 5'5" and had brown hair and eyes. My hair reached to about the middle of my back and I had pale skin, and I didn't like it that I was here, in California, but I didn't want to make my dad sad, so I willingly came.

My first impression of the school was it was very… big—ginormous. It looked very new too and very bright. It looked like one of those really expensive, a lot of cliques, and a caste system kind of school. There were girls lounging on beach chairs, squealing when a ball came past them, and there were guys throwing footballs and eating finger foods. Just what I wanted… I thought to myself, sarcastically.

I walked over to the administration office, and there was an old, strict looking lady sitting at the front desk. I walked up to her and smiled. All she did was lower her eyeglasses and look me up and down.

Then she said, "Isabella Swan?"

"I like Bella, Bella Swan." I said faintly.

"Here's your schedule Ms. Swan. Your guide will be here shortly. You may wait in that chair over there." She pointed to a lone chair in the corner, and I made my way towards it.

I sat down and not a minute had passed before a girl burst in, and started rambling on how she was so sorry she was late.

"She is right there, Ms. Cullen."

"Thanks Mrs. Schubert." The girl said, when she looked my way, a huge smile was plastered on her face.

She was gorgeous. She was tiny, but she had curves in all the right places and her short pixie-like hair, just complimented her even more. Her eyes were a striking bright green, and her clothes looked very expensive. Wow.

She pranced over to me and held out her hand, "Hi! My name is Alice Cullen, and I'll be your guide for this whole week."

I shook her hand and suddenly she pulled me into a tight hug.

"Hi Alice." I whispered.

"I can tell we're going to be the best of friends, wait till I tell Rose. She'll just flip, we can all go shopping together and we can watch movies and everything…"

She would've gone rambling on and on, until I laughed and said, "I think I want to find my dorm first."

She looked flushed and said, "Oh—right—sorry."

"That's okay." She smiled again, and this time, I genuinely smiled back.

"What's your dorm number?"

I looked down at my schedule, "E303?"

Alice squealed, "You're bunking with me! This is so great! And the building next to ours is Rose's, we'll have a blast!"

"Cool." Was all I got in when Alice went on telling me about all the different kinds of things we could do. We were going to be great friends; already I could tell she would be a really good friend.

An hour later, we went to all of my classes twice, she showed me around campus; there was a sign pointing to the left that said, "Ice Skating Rink." What kind of school has an Ice Skating Rink?

Soon, we were knocking on someone's room door. A girl answered. She was just as beautiful as Alice probably more. She looked to be about a perfect 5'9", her layered, wavy blonde hair ended in ringlets that accentuated her features. She had thick, long eyelashes and bright blue eyes. She didn't look like she belonged here in a boarding school; she looked like a swimsuit model for Victoria Secret. Just standing by her, made me feel self-conscious.

"Rose!" Alice said, as she pounced on her. She seemed to expect it though; she caught Alice before she could tumble down.

"Hi Alice." She said, chuckling.

"Rose, this is Bella. Remember the student I'm guiding, this is her!" Alice said jumping up and down.

Rose looked at me, speculating, suddenly she smiled brightly.

"I'm surprised you survived. I expected Alice to bring you here until later." She said laughing, and I couldn't help but join in.

"Another minute, I could've sworn, I would've had a panic attack." Rose laughed even more.

Alice just stood there, arms across her chest, and pouting. We immediately shut up, and tried to cover our laughter.

"Ha ha, very funny you guys." Alice said rolling her eyes, "you'll thank me Bella, when you don't get lost."

"I'm sorry." I said, still trying to hold in my laughter.

A minute later, we all sat down on Rose's couch, and they asked me a barrel full of questions, about my life before this.

We were at, "Have you ever had a boyfriend?" when the door burst in and two guys came in, wearing masks. I screamed and shoved Alice and Rose in the back of me, and grabbed the nearest "weapon" I could find. Soon, I was on top the bigger guy, hitting him on the stomach with the base of Rose's lamp.

I didn't notice the laughter until a minute later; I stopped, and looked at Rose and Alice. They were in tears, and Alice was doubled over laughing her head off. I frowned. What was so funny? There were burglars!

"Would anyone mind telling me what's going in?" I said confused.

I got off the guy, I realized I was still sitting on, and stood up. He stood up as well, and took off his mask. Instead of looking pissed off, he was laughing so hard, probably harder than Alice, who I thought, couldn't laugh any harder.

"That was classic!" The other guy said; he took his mask as well. Both of them were inhumanly gorgeous, just like Alice and Rose. The guy I hit, was the more muscular of the two, it seemed his muscles went on for miles and miles, he had curly hair, and green eyes, like Alice's. Brother and sister?

The other guy looked more delicate. He had blonde hair and hazel eyes. He was maybe a foot taller than me, and he was lean.

"Bella, you should have seen your face, you looked freaked!" Alice said, still laughing. "May I introduce you to my brother and my boyfriend." Everybody was laughing their guts out, their laughter was so contagious, and I smiled. Darn them…

"Hi. I'm Emmett Cullen, Alice's Brother, and let me just say, that's was freaking hilarious! The next time you're about to do something funny, tell me, and I'll come running." Ha-ha… very funny.

About fifteen minutes later, they all stopped laughing, and were trying hard to breathe. That's what they get.

"My name's Jasper," the other guy held out his hand, and I shook it, "I'm Alice's boyfriend."

"Nice to meet you, Jasper."

They all looked at me, smiling, and I shifted, feeling uncomfortable. "I can tell this is going to be a great year." Rose said, I don't think I was supposed to hear that.

"You guys want to go out to eat?" Emmett asked, rubbing his stomach.

I was about to decline when my stomach growled. Traitor…

They all laughed at me, "I'm in." I said, glaring down at my stomach which made them laugh even more.

We all rode in Emmett's jeep, to the school restaurant, and went in.

We sat around a round table, while the waitress took our orders.

"I'll have a super-sized pizza and an extra large root beer." Emmett ordered.

"I'll have the same thing as him, but slash the root beer and put in sprite." Jasper ordered, he turned to us girls.

"I'll have the spaghetti and a medium sized sprite." Alice ordered.

"I'll have the same thing as her." I said. Spaghetti was just what I needed right now.

"Rose?" Emmett asked.

"Uh… I'll have a chicken Caesar salad with no dressing, and a diet coke." Rose said, pursing her lips.

Alice, Jasper, and Emmett groaned. "Why do you always order that nowadays?" Alice asked. "You won't get fat! What do I keep telling you?"

"I want a Caesar salad!" Rose said; it seemed like they have had this conversation before.

I didn't want the day to end badly, so I interrupted, "Do you have any other siblings Alice?"

They all tensed, and then Alice said, "Yeah, my brother, he goes to this school too. His name's Edward." Alice rolled her eyes when she said this.

"Edward is—let's say, he's just what we like to call a um—a…" Rose groaned and continued, "He's a player. He's the Alpha male and is proud of it, he's always using girls, and doesn't give a damn about how they feel, when he just dumps them just like that." As if to emphasize her meaning, she snapped her fingers and moved her head to the side.

"Speaking of Edward…" Alice whispered, we all turned our heads to look at the entrance door. There stood a god amongst peasants… He was gorgeous. If you said he looked like the perfect male model, you are terribly wrong. He was more than that, but then I remembered what Rose said about him, so I looked away.

"Hello family, friends…newbie." He said as he came to our table.

"Edward." Rosalie said dismissively.

He held his had over his chest and said, "Ouch. That hurt. So, aren't you guys going to introduce me to your friend here? Or do I have to do it my way?" Everybody looked panicked, so I decided to step up to the plate.

"Bella Swan." I said; my hands were starting to get clammy.

"Edward Cullen, but of course you already know that." He smiled an arrogant smile, just as our waitress brought our food.

I looked from my spaghetti to him and back to my spaghetti… just one more comment…

"You wanna come with me? I'll show you a real fun time." That's it.

I picked up my spaghetti and smashed it to his face. Everybody sat there stunned, and so did everybody else in the restaurant. Then, everybody at my table started laughing and pointing at Edward's face.

I got up and stomped my way out of the store. Although he got me mad and made my blood boil, he was all I thought about the rest of the day—and night…

Hey guys! Thanks for reading, but don't forget to review!!
