Yes, this is a shadouge fan fic! This took place at SA2B, at the last scene, where Rouge was asking about Shadow, but unfortunately, he didn't make it! Enjoy!)

Chapter 1: Good-bye Shadow The Hedgehog... Or Not
Sonic came back after saving everyone from the Eclipse Cannon.
"Where's Shadow?" asked a certain beautiful white bat named Rouge. Sonic shook his head meaning that he didn't make it. He came up to Rouge and handed her a treasure for her to keep. It was Shadow's golden bracelet. She was holding the bracelet and just staring at it. She closed her eyes and a sparkling tear fell out of her eye and landed on Shadow's bracelet. Everybody was celebrating, but Rouge was far away from them crying her tears out.
"I can't believe it, Shadow your gone, I want you here by my side. Please don't leave me here suffering!," cried the ivory bat. She kept on admiring her treasure, Shadow's bracelet.
"Hey, let's all go back home." suggested Sonic
"Yeah,"responded Amy
Everyone left except for Rouge standing near where the window was, staring out at space. All she could see were images of her dark hero, Shadow. Sonic was behind her.
"Rouge, I understand that you were expecting Shadow to come back, but he risked his life for Earth, he risked his life for...YOU!" said the blue hedgehog.
"Yeah, I know, but I was getting so close to him, I-I actually thought I had a chance to be ...oh never mind.," sighed Rouge
"Are you going to be ok?,"saked Sonic
"Yeah, I'll be fine." answered Rouge
He was heading out the door until he turned around towards Rouge.
"You comin' Rouge?" asked Sonic
"Sure, just give me a minute." answered Rouge
"Ok,"said Sonic
So he went to the spaceship and was awaiting the white bat to come. Rouge was still crying until she was going to the door. She stopped walking and spotted a picture of somebody familiar to her. She bends down and picked up the picture. She gave a small smile because it was a picture of Shadow. She placed Shadow's picture in her heart.
"I will never forget about you, Shadow The Hedgehog.," whispered Rouge
She went to the spaceship and sat next to Amy.
"Are you ok Rouge," asked the pink hedgehog, Amy.
Rouge nodded to Amy.
"Ohh who's that on the picture?" asked again Amy
"Huh, ohh it's Shadow," answered Rouge. She showed her the picture of Shadow.
"Don't worry Rouge; I'm sure he will remember you forever," said Amy
Rouge nodded again to Amy and started out the small window daydreaming of Shadow.

He then noticed that he had the chaos emerald.
"This might be the craziest idea I have ever thought of, but this chaos emerald might have enough energy to get me back to Earth.
