Weird Dream
Quills of blue
shoes of red
gone in a flash
before he's dead.
Fast as lightning
fast as thunder
always in a never ending blunder.
Sonic here Tails there and Knuckles they met
they are an unseperable set.
Robotnik building mechs
it's like a never ending hex.
The tale goes something like this:
it all happened with an evil hiss
the mechs all lie destroyed in puddle
and Sonic team in a huddle,
"let us destroy Robotnik" Sonic yelled
but Tails sat and then just smelled.
"Something comes this way"
Tails said "looks like there will be some destruction today"
More mechs came
and were destroyed just the same.
"Destroy my kiddies" was said according to the playback
And Sonic said "We need to get that Emerald back.
They climbed Robotnik's tower
the Emeralds gave them power.
They found Robotnik on the top floor
and just as they were entering the door
a flash of light was all that was seen
and Sonic couldn't see through the gleam.
Sonic ran all about
but was finally knocked out.
When he awoke
he got up and he spoke
"Today is a sad day for the Sonic team
we were only beaten by a gleam."
Robotnik left a clue
a dangerous one but all together true.
It was a note saying that he was at a circus on the outskirts of town
Sonic said "Who does he think he is a clown?"
Tails said "I say use caution when going it might have some traps."
Said Sonic "Maybe, but if that's the case it would be one of Robotnik's greatest mishaps."
Sonic ran as fast as he could
to the circus before the wood.
Robotnik stood outside
as if waiting for the right time to hide.
He made a face
and strolled to his base
Sonic ran as fast as he could
he made it into Robotnik's base and there he stood.
He could see laser tripwires in a haze
what's worse he was stuck in a maze.
He navigated safely through the maze
and finally found Robotnik's place
He fought Robotnick to the death
and said Robotnik with his dying breath
"this is not me
only a clone you see."
Sonic gone
Robotnik dead
no one's left
that's all that's said.
Sonic left feeling angered and depressed
he finally woke up and then got dressed.
Said Sonic "oh what a night,
that dream gave a terrible fright."
