Hello everyone (who's reading this). Uh I'm not sure what possessed me to write this but yeah, I'm a huge Juvy fan. This takes place after Ivy finds out about Julian being in control of Crane and confronts him (6/14/07 episode) own absolutely nothing except my thoughts and you don't want them anyway. The title is a line in the song "All Good Things (Come to and End)" by Nelly Furtado, awesome song btw. Enjoy, Read & Review please.

We are what we don't see

The door slammed behind her, leaving an echo that shot throughout the alley and mingled with the sound of her heels colliding with the pavement as she hurried her way outside and into the dimly lit alley to the side of the popular Blue Note club. She began to pace back and forth as voices commandeered her spinning head, spinning from anger, frustration, and perhaps a tad too much alcohol.

The voices swarmed her mind, each time proposing an even better way to make him suffer. Yes, suffer, but not enough to kill him. No, she wanted him to see how much pain she was in and all because of another one of his lies.

If there was one thing Ivy Winthrop Crane hated, it was being betrayed and lied to and that's how she felt now. And what's worse was that she had began to trust him, Julian Crane, her ex-husband. What a mistake that was, she thought. How he obtained the ability to gain her trust she'd never know. What confused her more was why it hurt so much after all the years of being with Julian. Ivy's blue eyes began to fill with unwelcome tears. The water drops, representation of her pain, flowed oh too freely down her face like a small stream.

The stream of tears soon turned into heart-wrenching sobs that she had no control over. If there is a God he certainly isn't very fond of me, she thought. She used every fiber of strength she had to try and calm herself. She looked up into the night sky.

"So is this my karma!?" Ivy asked into the air. She was so caught up in her outpouring of emotions that she didn't hear the door the club open and close.

"No it isn't." Julian said, standing behind her. She turned around to face him, the anger and hurt visible on her face and in her eyes. It pained him to see her like this, but that was a topic for another moment. "Now before you start bitting my head off, I meant everything I said to you earlier and I was going to tell you about gaining more control at Crane."

"Oh please! Go to hell Julian." Ivy said, turning her back to him as tears began to well up in her eyes yet again.

"I probably will." Julian replied and turned Ivy to face him. He tucked a stray strand of her blonde hair behind her ear. "But until then we can still have a second chance. Please don't let this ruin everything."

"Stop acting like you give a damn about me or anything else."

"You're wrong. I care for you and you know it because you care for me too." Julian said and began to caress her face with the back of his hand.

"Please stop Julian." Ivy tried to pull away but Julian moved closer. Their eyes were locked together, both unable to look away.

Eyes still locked on each other, their lips became closer and closer.

"Well isn't this sweet, the Cranes together again." The raspy voice of Harmony's resident blackmailer broke Ivy and Julian out of their embrace.

Sooooo...tell me what you think. Shall I continue?
