The Long Road to Peace: How the West Was Won

A drabble on the general population accepting demigods, tie in to my story "The Long Road to Peace"

The general public in the United States did not know exactly when they started warming up to the demigod population.

Maybe it was when it was released that the majority of the founding fathers were demigods, along with the most iconic presidents.

Maybe it was when it was released that there was hardly a person west of Turkey that could not trace their heritage to a demigod if they tried hard enough.

Maybe it was when local people such as police chiefs, firefighters, and highly respected doctors came out as children of gods of varying power in over counties in every state and territory in the nation.

Maybe it was when crime rates did not go up as many thought they would, but actually went down because demigods were no longer scared of being persecuted if they intervened.

Maybe just making the people deal with something is how the west is won.
