"Dammit, Kahlan," Cara whined, "how much longer must we wait?" She was pulling at her fishing line that had not yet experienced a bite, or even a nibble.
"Patience, dear," Kahlan said softly. "And it's barely been an hour!" Cara grumbled. Kahlan had to admit, Cara was rather adorable when she was grumpy.
"You're lucky I love you," Cara said begrudgingly.
"I know," Kahlan kissed he tenderly before returning to her own fishing pole.
"What was that for?" the Mord-Sith asked.
"For the fish," Kahlan said smiling.
