It would be so fun to watch Lee's reaction if his team mates got together(which I hope happens). And the talks Gai-sensei would give them! I don't know why, but I always find it interesting to imagine what these two would do in that case. So, I wrote this.
Naruto ain't mine

So it finally happened. You don't know how long I've waited for this. Oh, and Gai-sensei too! Finally my two friends are together. Well, it's about time. I remember when they first talked to each other.
"Can I help you?
"Yes. What kind of shampoo do you use?"
Neji avoided her for a week after that. But in Tenten's defense, that was a very good question. I wonder if he has told her. Anyway, Gai-sensei could sense from the very start that we would become a very close team.
"But those two...Just wait, Lee. Soon, those two will share a very strong and special bond."
And I trust Gai-sensei. What he says, goes.
But they could be so stubborn. I don't know who was more, though. But they became friends quick. Too quick. I mean, after Neji got over the shampoo thing, he went straight to Tenten and -lets be honest here- forced her to be his sparring partner. I was crushed. Not because I liked Tenten-well, actually, I once had a crush on her,but it only lasted two months, so it was a short one...or was a long one? But that's not the point! I was crushed because it was supposed to be me who would battle Neji and defeat him. But Gai-sensei told me it was better this way.
"Lee! You need to see this as an apportunity. A golden door has been opened for you and it's waiting for you to enter. Don't you get it, Lee? While Neji's busy with Tenten, I'll be able to teach you ways to defeat him. He will not know what hit him!"
Gai-sensei is so wise.
"And also, spending time together will be good for those two."
It took a few months, but they started to get along pretty well. The evidence: those two could comunicate without talking and sometimes without even looking at each other. I will never admit it, but there were times when I felt sorry for the ninjas that had to battle them. A few weeks ago, while we were on a mission, one of the enemy ninjas broke Tenten's arm and Neji went crazy when another one aproached her. I was scared. Even Gai-sensei was nervous. He doesn't get that way when I break an arm or a leg.
Now, They won't exacly tell me how it happened, or when, or where...But I WILL find out! And when I do, I'll tell you!
There is just one thing that troubles me. There have been times when I go look for them, where they train, but I don't find them. In fact, the place looked like it hadn't been used. And when they come back, they don't have a scratch on them, exept a few times when I've seen one or both with bruises, mostly around their necks. I told Gai-sensei about it once.
"Is that so, Lee? Well, then I must tell you something."
I already knew what was going on, but I needed to hear Gai-sensei tell me himself.
"Lee. Listen carefully. When Neji and Tenten go... training, DO NOT follow them. Promise me you won't."
But he didn't told me directly. It hurted that he knew and wouln't tell me. But I knew.
Tenten was helping Neji with a technique that he surely will use to defeat me when we battle! Neji! You can train as much as you like, but you will not win!
"Promise me you won't follow them, Lee!"
I never break my promises, less to Gai-sensei.
But I want to know...Do you think a little peak will hurt?
--------------------------------------------------------------
...Lee, it will hurt if they catch you.
I had fun writing this, specially the last part. Lee looks too innocent for his own good.
