A week after Elsa was locked on her room, the mother of the girls, wife of the king died.
Elsa knew nothing about her sister, Anna and her life until after the Great Thaw.
Anna's father, the king, turns abusive toward Anna after her mother died.
ANNA AGE 5-13
Anna steals food, water, clothes, and bandages whenever she can. The only clothes she can steal are the servant boys clothes. She doesn't steal many clothes so she tends to where dirty clothes.
Her father doesn't pay much attention to her, but when he does, she gets hurt badly.
Anna starts singing nursery rhymes to herself to help herself calm down. She also talks to a special doll instead of the paintings.
ANNA AGE 13-16
The king dies when Anna is 13. Anna is able to move on, or so she thinks. She now wears clean clothes and dresses. Anna doesn't have any memories of the pain she has endured.
ANNA AGE 16, ELSA AGE 21
Everything happens the way it does in the movie. After the Great Thaw and the incident with Hans has started Anna's memory back up. And with her memories and painful emotions coming back, so are her old behaviors.
Anna starts wearing old dirty boys clothes again. She starts to sing nursery rhymes to herself when upset again. She is very jumpy and alert. She starts carrying around her doll and talking to it again. When scared, Anna starts to talk in toddler speak. Now that Anna has her sister, Anna gets separation anxiety whenever she has to leave Elsa's side.
Once Elsa finds out what's going on with her sister and why Anna does what she does, Elsa can only think of one way to help Anna. Elsa decides to reparent Anna. How is Elsa going to explain this to her kingdom, the castle staff, and any people who decide to visit her kingdom.
