July 26, 1997

Dear Diary,

Oh my gosh! I have just seen the famous Harry Potter! Unfortunately, he wasn't alone at the compartment he was in. There was a boy named Ron Weasley was there with him. There was a smudge on his nose that seems impossible to remove and boy does he have shocking bright red hair. And to add more information, the scar really is true and he is gorgeous I tell you maybe even drop-dead gorgeous! Hey even me has some crushes you know! I have met an irritating boy named Draco Malfoy, he is a bit cute but because of his rudeness, he looks ugly. Catch you tomorrow; I have to do my homework.

Dear Diary,

I am sorted into Gryffindor! I hear it is the best of the houses here. More importantly, The-Boy-Who-Lived is there too. Ruddy school robes, I cannot wear any muggle clothing to show-off. I will just show my skills in learning. That reminds me, I have got a perfect score on our Arthrimacy test today, 50/50. Yay me! I discovered that the slimy git Draco Malfoy was fond of calling me a mudblood. "You filthy little mudblood," Is one of his lines. Lucky me that Ron defended me and lucky me Harry comforted me all throughout the thunderstorm a while ago! Sorry to cut it short but it ends here. That Professor Snape gave us a pile of homework for Merlin's sake!

Dear Diary,

I am now best friend's with the Harry Potter! Boo for me, Ron Weasley joined us. He is so intimidating. Do you happen to know the story on why Harry Potter has become my bestfriend? Here, I will tell you; it is quite scary. I was crying at the girls' bathroom because Ron said I was a bigheaded know-it-all. I locked myself in and cried the whole afternoon. They were at the Great Hall for it was already suppertime. Somehow, a troll escaped from the dungeons and found its way to the girls' bathroom! I had just gotten out when it came in. Harry obviously was the obviously was the one who cared for me because he told me he just dragged along Ron. They saved me from the troll by knocking it out. Professor McGonagall came when the action was already done. 5 points was taken from me because I lied that I thought I could handle the troll. However, 100 points was added for Harry and Ron for their "brave and noble but impossible deed".
