It was a good thing the castle had a large library, as Zexion spent a good deal of time there, reading whatever was of interest. There were books from all different worlds, about anything and everything and sometimes nothing at all. He had once read a book from the world of Earth. It was about one of the more mainstream religions of that world, and, in Zexion's opinion, fairly boring to read. Sins and virtues, what did it matter to a Nobody who was doomed to fade into oblivion?
Then again, most of the listed sins applied to a large percentage of the Organization, so maybe that should tell him something about how all of them ended up with this fate.
Was overstepping themselves a sin? Because that's how the first six got here, at least. What were all of the sins again?
Lust. There's really no hope of redeeming any of them from that. Even someone as innocent as Demyx. He would know.
Next one...gluttony. Well, Roxas had his ice cream obsession or fetish or whatever it was…Then again, Axel was pretty much anorexic. Which virtue went with gluttony again? Abstinence, right. Going by that, Axel and Roxas really were the perfect pair.
Greed, after that. Luxord would fall into that category nicely, with all those bets he made on poker (He always won them, too, the bastard.) Well, maybe this was what the original six were guilty of. Greedy for…What? Knowledge? Why had they been so set on continuing Ansem's research? Diligence was a virtue, if he remembered correctly. It was all a bit unfair, really.
And then…sloth. Well, pretty much every one of them, original six included, tried to get out of missions as much as possible.
Wrath. That one doesn't really need much explaining. Especially not with Larxene or Xemnas.
Envy. Envy, envy, envy. Every single one of them was guilty, very guilty, of that. They were all envious of the Somebodies, the real people who roamed the worlds, anyone with a heart. They were all jealous of anyone who could feel.
And last but not least, pride. Well, he himself might be the tiniest bit guilty of that. Only a little. Truly.
And what of the virtues? In Zexion's opinion, Demyx had them all. He might do well with a bit more humility, but Zexion wasn't really one to talk. Oh, and chastity. There would be none of that, is Zexion had anything to say on the matter.
