This Fan fiction is entirely and completely for my friends who know what the hay I am talking about, so if you read this and you are not someone I know I deeply apologize for the time you wasted trying to understand my warped logic..really deeply sorry.

Chapter One..The Set Up…
"What are you watching, Kate," Tasha called as she walked into the familiar Collins kitchen.
"Newsies, what else, and how did you get into my house? Kate asked as she was extremely confused although her eyes remained glued to the screen.
"Oh yeah, um, I don't remember, but that's not the point! The point is, I drove all the way over here to ask you 'bout tonight. Oh, is that Orange and Cream Soda?" asked Tasha.
"Yeah, but you can't have any, 'cuz it's for tonight, yeah, Danielle's house," said Kate in an expressionless voice.
"Oh, okay, well I am gonna go back to my car now and go to Danielle's. You commin' now or later?" Tasha asked.
"Ah, let me finish this first."
The movie, however, was quickly removed by the intervening Bethany ho had come out of nowhere showing immense concern for Kate's obvious Newsies obsession.
"This is for your own good Katie," Beth was the only one allowed to call Kate, Katie, "I love you and I want you to breathe and know there is life beyond Newsies."
"Right," said Kate, "okay, let's go to the party," she said calmly.
"Kate, I know withdraw can be hard, but we are all here for you, Me, Tosha, and Turtle, we care," said Beth as Turtle appeared from the shadows with a confused expression on her face.
"How did I get here? The last I knew I was Beta reading online," said Turtle, now even more confused than usual.
"Okay you are all crazy! Now let's go!" exclaimed Kate as she grabbed her things and headed for the door.
"Are you sure you're okay. The first hours are the worst, but we'll get through this together," Beth said comfortingly.
"Okay Beth, we'll do that," said Kate as she motioned to Tasha and Turtle to help her.
So, the girls gathered their things, including the sacred Newsie dvd with bonus-extra-kewl-newsie-behind-the-scenes-material, and headed into town.
