Whelp...I know I should be working on Out of Mind...but I did this to kinda put the end in montion. But don't worry I'll work on Out of Mind later. Without further a do, I gve you Reflections & Intent.

Nolan York, Numbuh 2030, Leader of Sector Q, former Leader of the Prospectors. Sat in a foldable lawn chair on the Sector Q tree house west balcony. He stared off into the afternoon sky as he thought of many events in his life. He practically begged for something to happen. Anything was better than having to remember.

Nolan took out his broken M.U.M.B.L.E.R. It had, not that long ago, been cut in two by Figure, a former member of the KND who had caused death and destruction to meet his own goals. One of those deaths was that of Corey Sanderson aka Numbuh 10.01, a boy that Nolan had personally recruited into the Prospectors.

Nolan shook his head as thought of Corey's death. Nolan didn't want to remember all those things. The deaths of his friends Dillon, Corey, and even his Father. He didn't want to remember.

Nolan inspected where the knife sliced the M.U.M.B.L.E.R., it had cut clean through the 2x4 weapon with ease. Nolan set down the broken weapon and picked up a gas mask resting on the floor. He still had no clue why Mr. Dodds had given him the gas mask. Sure it was cool and all and it was his birth day, but the gas mask seemed out dated, completely hiding the wearers face from everything.

As Nolan thought, another memory was slowly brought to light. The memory of watching helplessly as Mario was crushed by a ceiling. Nolan visibly saddened as he remembered every detail of that night. It was the day he was captured by Prom Queen and her teens while Mario and Dillon came to his rescue. It was also the night he decided to join the KND, to get revenge for what had happened to Mario.

A smile slowly formed on Nolan's face as he remembered the month he spent in the Arctic as a part of the Cadets Next Door. All the challenges he faced in training were nothing compared to what he had faced in the last two years. Nolan let out a small laugh, he was always told in training that the adults were the enemy and that the KND was to help protect kids. Ironic seeing as in the past two years Nolan had fought kids more than adults. Heck, one of his best friends was an old, coffee drinking, retired, international business man.

Nolan placed the gas mask back down on the floor as the sound of three kids playing video games drowned out what was left of his peace. What could he do anyways? They were his team and he respected them for it. But half the stuff they did was just whine about all of his rules. If he had to be honest, he could care less about the new generation of KND.

Nolan let out a shaky breath. His eyes narrowed at the sound of Dustin's annoying voice. He was more than sure Dustin would be runner up for most hated operative. Nolan didn't like Harvey, but he did share his dislike in Nigel Uno, Numbuh 1, the James Bond, the so called best. But hey, he wouldn't be called the best if it wasn't true. Nigel hasn't been seen or heard from in months and his Sector has practically lost most if not all morale. But Nolan wasn't complaining, How could he? If the Supreme Leader didn't have her infamous crush on him, then maybe they would have been sent in instead of the Prospectors.

Nolan shook his head. Even with all the rage in the world wouldn't dare bring himself to that place in his mind. But in the end, despite the painful memories, Nolan had to remember. Because if he didn't who would?

*Beep Beep*

Nolan turned to see his H.E.A.D.S.E.T. ring, indicating an incoming call.

"Well…better than sitting around dwelling on the past" Nolan said before answering the call.
