Summary: A young mage is captured by an assassin.
Chapter 1
"Gah! Hurry up Aki, you're too slow!"
"Sorry, but this damn place is too crowded." the girl named Akina yelled at her brother, Kado, over the jam-packed crowd in Prontera city.
Aki, short for Akina, was a young magician, soon to be a sage. She mage had long dark blue hair that was tied up with a large white ribbon. Her older brother Kado, on the other hand, was a hunter aiming to be a sniper. Kado has brown spiked hair, with an apple of archer balancing on top.
"Well you should get used to it whilst you're here," Kado said. "I guess I'll see you around!" He gave Akina a warm squeeze and disappeared into the crowd.
She and her brother had returned from a hunting trip and had stopped here to take a rest. After that, her brother was to return back to his guild and Aki had to journey home alone.
"Oh well looks like I'm on my own now," Akina told herself. "Guess I should have a look around."
Although her brother had been to almost every city in the world of ragnarok, Akina had not. Most surprisingly to her friends, Akina had never been to Prontera. She preferred cities like Geffen, her home town, Yuno, Payon, and Lutie.
Akina had heard about a big fountain in the center of the city and decided to go see if it was as magnificent as her friends back in Geffen had told her.
FLASHBACK
"Oh, Aki! Prontera's fountain is so beautiful!" a young swordsman had told her.
"You should go visit sometime! That fountain is so big, 20 people could swim in it!" an archer had said.
"Absolutely splendid, I should say!" a group of mages exclaimed.
"I don't think I really want to go, I mean it sounds nice, but I hear that place is really noising a crowded, being the capitol city and all," Akina told all her friends.
END OF FLASHBACK
Aki who was remember all the things her friend had noticed, took no notice of the person in front of her, and collided into him.
"Sorry sir," she said, apologizing. The figure turned out to be an assassin, who was taken by surprise.
"Watch it lady!" Akina figured out quickly that he wasn't in a good mood. "Uhh, well I better get going," Akina told him nervously, seeing the part of the fountain over the crowd of people.
The mage tried to walk swiftly away, but she was too slow . The assassin appeared right in front of Akina, smirked, and gave her a powerful swipe across the chest. Akina, who barely knew he was in front of her, fainted, and was carried away...
