Lexi Potter was trying not to cry as she turned from the pale, blonde boy. Scorpius reached out taking her hand and stopping her. "It's not true. I swear it's not true." He told her. "I could never love anyone else, but you." He pulled her to him. "I love you. Only you. I swear this is true! I don't care what our parents say! They were all in love when they were our age! We're not too young to know what we want in life."

"What if they're right though? What if I leave and-and-and you…" she let out a sob.

"No. No!" He held her to him one hand in her beautiful red hair. He closed his eyes feeling like he could cry himself. "Lexi," he said taking a deep breath and calming himself down. "I want you to go to University. I want you to follow your dreams. I want you to be happy. It doesn't matter to me if it takes four years or if it takes 40 years, I'll be here waiting for you. I promise you that. It doesn't matter how long it takes, it doesn't matter what happens between now and then, I'll be here, I'll always be here. And when you're ready, if we have to we'll run away together, get married in the first church we come to, and then find a place to live together, with or without our parents' blessing."

"Really?" She asked him looking up.

He ran his thumb underneath her eyes drying her tears. "Really. And between now and then I'll be loving you. I'll always love you. I'm not going to find anyone that I love like I love you, Lexi…like I love you, Lily Xenia Potter." He told her smiling.

"I'll never love anyone like I do you, Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy." She told him smiling a little.
