Hotaru's Little Light
Engulfed in the mist's Purple glow
I live in a confine
So dead, so dreary,
Sadness is an unwanted partner of mine
Alone in the shadows behind dad's lab
I sit here so isolated
Feeling down-hearted, rebellious and mad
Yet behind the mist's veil,
I feel a warm light
Shining so softly,
Yet guiding me through the darkest night
I feel it shining on me so sweetly now,
Its rays slowly thawing my pallid body, yet how?
It feels like I'm frozen, inside and out,
But then I can suddenly breathe, feel so free and joyously shout,
"I won't be afraid,
I'll fight on and on!
The mists make it hard to see,
But clarity will come to me
I'll never stop,
My faith will never be gone
Because I've got my eternal power
Guiding me on!"
