To Think of War
A/N: I'm not exactly sure what battle this is, so don't ask. ^^; I just made it up. And Sorry it's so small.
And now for the story!
"General Ivan." The latter turned toward the speaker. One of his troops.
"Soldier," Ivan looked down at the green clothed soldier.
"We've just received information about the Enemy's troops whereabouts. They are closing in. Should we take action?"
"When you can see their ranks, send the troops out and wait for my command."
"Sir!" The soldier saluted and left the room.
Ivan walked to the window and looked down at Moscow.
He had forgotten who the Enemy was. So many he had during his life, so many he conquered.
What was their purpose to infiltrate his country? They wanted what was rightfully Ivan's.
How could they be so rude? To take his Matryoshka* from him; they must be ashamed.
Ivan would not let the doll be taken by the other greedy Enemy. For inside the Matryoshka, was yet another one of the wooden dolls. And in that smaller doll was yet another even smaller one.
If the Enemy took Moscow, the rest of Russia would be doomed.
Russia was not weak, so Ivan would not be either.
He will defend.
He will conquer.
He will prevail.
All for the sake of the Great Country of Russia.
*Also known as a Russian Nesting Doll. It is a wooden doll, usually made to be a woman, with smaller versions of itself inside of the bigger one. The last and smallest does not open.
