"Katara, wait up!" Ty Lee yelled as she cartwheeled her way over to Katara.
"Jeez, slow down you guys." Mai said as she fell behind them at walking speed.
"I agree with Little Miss Gloomy over here! Slow down." Toph agreed.
Meanwhile, up ahead, Katara was hurrying towards the beach. They hadn't had a girls night out before, and somehow they'd decided that they would. Most of them were eager to do it, while the rest were indifferent towards it. But at least no one didn't want to be there.
"Hey guys, I found a cute little eel! It's so slippery..." Ty Lee exclaimed.
Katara and Ty Lee stood looking at the eel while the others caught up. Then Katara announced, "Okay girls! We're finally here! Time for the long-awaited girls night out!"
The 5 girls then threw off their clothes to reveal swimming clothes underneath. Then they, Suki, Katara, Ty Lee, Mai, and Toph, ran to the water.
Katara spent most of her time in the water, surfing on a board made of ice. Toph spent most of her time building mini kingdoms and towns on the beach. Mai simply sat under her umbrella and rested. Ty Lee was all over the place, collecting sea shells and swimming as well. Suki was just happily swimming around. They were all having fun in their own ways.
That is, until one hour later, when somehow or another they had gotten into a argument about what they should do at the beach.
"Just doing our own things isn't really hanging out. Come on, get in the water with us. I understand why Toph won't, but seriously Mai. Do something fun for once!" Katara exclaimed.
"I don't want to get in the water. I was perfectly happy laying on the beach, but you had to come and try to force me to do something I don't want to do!" Mai yelled.
"Guys, guys, please don't fight!" Ty Lee tried to help.
Toph leaned over and whispered, "Don't try to help. Just let them fight it out."
Finally, Suki yelled, "ENOUGH" at the 2 bickering girls. "Come on, we're all friends here. If we want to hang out together, let's do it. But let's do something we all enjoy."
The girls looked at her, "Like what?"
Suki thought for a minute, and finally answered, "volleyball?"
The girls looked at her, then smiled and laughed.
"Thats a great idea!" Ty Lee exclaimed.
"The best solutions are often simple, yet unexpected" Suki said.
"That sounds like something Iro would say" Toph said.
"It is. I just used a little bit of his wisdom!" Suki said, laughing.
And then together, the girls played their hearts out. And they enjoyed every second of it.
