Last Love Song ~hotsleekeyz~

Second of my fic-lettes. [This must be the real thing. *crosses fingers*]

Pairing : DracoXHermione

Setting : Seventh year at Hogwarts and students were about to disperse themselves from the train station.

***********************************************************************

It was a love thought to be immature, only too true. No one dared believed that a Pureblood and a Half-blood would go together with them coming from two opposing houses --- Slytherin and Gryffindor.

If there's anything else to describe what it had been, for it was a relationship never to be talked about Hogwarts--- It's was the school's secret.

Voldemort was on the rise and the relationship of the two beautiful students were a great risk to their lives. But true love does sure makes its way through. . . that life and death is simply a false imagery created by the society's lame front of telling them that something immoral would always come known, even if it was to be to the Death Eaters that they long hidden the secret from.

Draco had too late found true love in the brave Gryffindor. . . weeks before that day they had to part came. He learned to respect Hermione after he knew she attested to the Ministry of Magic that he wasn't an undercover Death Eater around Hogwarts. He never saw such passion for truth and craving for justice in such fragile form of a young woman.

Hermione's footsteps felt heavier than a stone as she went off the train at King's Cross'. They had to break apart. If a relationship was to bloom between Draco and her, the only place to safely keep it was at Hogwarts--- because outside the school, there were too many gossiping mouths that aren't under control of the spell conjured on the students.

Her eyes were streaming down her hot cheeks. Draco followed her closely, seemingly aware that they couldn't have such less distance than a meter away from each other. Their relationship was dangerous, but dangerous no more it was, considering that seventh year at Hogwarts was already done. They're out to their own lives and they were not to see each other ever again.

How could a relationship have a deadline such as that? That it should all end once they step foot at King's Cross' station?

Discreetly, Draco put up with his acting, deliberately dropping his bag that flung open and so his possessions scattered. Hermione knew at once what that meant. Draco was to tell her something and so they both had to drop down onto the floor, and she helped Draco gather his things back in his bag while the handsome young Slytherin conveyed his last message to her.

"I'm so grateful that even in that short time, I had you with me to pull myself through. . . too grateful that for the first and last time in my life, I've found someone who mirrors me in this parallel world. . . because you're everything I'm not and nothing of who you are. . ."

Draco got all his possessions back inside his bag and he gained composure, smiled to Hermione discreetly and nodded morosely. It was their last.

THAT was the real fic-lette! YAY! Yes, the style is supposed to be that way, short and brief and only one line will capture all the emotions evoked in the story.

Please tell me what you think about this new style! If you don't know yet how I write, you could check out my other fics. . . ah well of course my style tends to vary from one story to another. . .lol.
