Part two

That morning when I woke up, Jace was already awake and out of bed. I got up and went down to the library but, he wasn't in there. Then, I heard banging around in the kitchen so I started walking towards the kitchen. When I walked into the kitchen I saw Jace attempting to cook breakfast. "Whatcha doing?" I said curiously.

"Trying to make breakfast for you. I'm not doing very good, I've never had to make breakfast before." I chuckled a little and said

"Here, I used to make breakfast for me and my mom when we still lived in the apartment." He watched me curiously as I easily cooked pancakes and bacon.

When I was done cooking we sat down and started eating when Jace said "You haven't seen the training room yet."

"No."

"You're going to love it. It's the biggest training room you have ever seen and more weapons than you could ever imagine."

"Sounds fun." I said smiling.

When we finished eating we went and changed into gear and started to the training room. When we got to the training room doors, Jace pushed them open and there was a gust of wind. When I looked in the training room it was amazing. There was targets and dummies everywhere. Hanging from the ceiling, on the walls, and even on the ground. Then there was an entire wall filled with different weapons. Seraphe Blades, Bow and Arrows, Enchanted Knives, and even just simple daggers.

As I stared in awe Jace smiled at me and said "I told you."

"Well I tried to imagine the most amazing training room I could think of, but this is nothing like I thought. It is so much better. Where did all these weapons come from?"

"They have been here since the beginning of the Herondale's. No one but a Herondale is allowed in the mansion so they were never touched."

"That's amazing."

"Well do you want to stand here all day and stare at them or do you want to train with them?"

"Training with them sounds much better."

"That's what I thought." he said as he smirked at me crookedly.

We trained for at least four hours and we still didn't get to use every kind of weapon on the wall. As we walked back to the bedroom to take showers and go to bed, Jace said "Tomorrow we will go into town, people are probably starting to think we have vanished."

"Okay, I'm sure my mom and Luke want to know what's been going on and how the mansion is."

"Yeah." He had a look in his eyes like he was hiding something but I didn't question it.

After I showered I laid in bed and as soon as my head hit the pillow, I was asleep. I hadn't realized how tired training had made me.
