The Doctor opened the TARDIS door and looked out onto a beautiful English morning. He had landed in a park and green grass spread before him in a lawn inviting a long leisurely stroll.

And he wouldn't have to be alone. Indeed, a stroll was better with two, and he now had a companion, loyal and affectionate, who would follow where he led or walk by his side or sometimes run ahead. Always, though, she would return to him.

"Come on, Rose! Wake up, we're going for a walk!" The Doctor held the door for his dog. Best companion ever.
