Finally

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss your bride."

The smile on Puck's face is probably even bigger than the one he had when Quinn had finally said 'yes' to marrying him. He turns to her and for a moment, takes in her ecstatic expression. Her bright hazel-green eyes shining with anticipation, her nose wrinkled so cutely and her wide, open-mouthed smile that always made him think, if she smiles any bigger, her jaw will unhinge.

He smiles wider and mouths an 'I love you' before leaning down and pressing his lips to hers, slipping an arm around her waist. He kissed her so soundly and fully, as if somehow to make up for nonexistent lost time. He feels her smile into the kiss as her hands move up to lovingly cup his cheeks.

He pulls away at the sound of applause, cheers, and laughter, regretting doing so for a moment. All he wanted was to hug her and kiss her and just hold her forever. He looks out at their families, mixed in the rows of chairs before them. He grins as his mother catches his eye. May Puckerman blows him a kiss as she wipes a tear from her eye. She's so proud and that's all Puck's ever really wanted.

He then looks at Beth, at their little girl, now six years old, watching her mama and daddy get married from her place on her mommy Shelby's lap. She continues to throw her little flower petals, smiling when she notices her daddy looking at her.

Puck grins and blows her a kiss before he turns to look back at Quinn. She continues to smile up at him and he leans down to rest his forehead on hers, letting his eyes flutter shut, if only for a moment to let it all sink in.

"I love you, too," she murmurs, pulling his head down and dropping a soft kiss to his nose.

He opens his eyes, taking her in once more, and drops a quick kiss to her lips before leaning forward and surprising her by hooking an arm around her legs and securing the one already around her waist before picking her up into his arms. She squeals, her smile still intact, though her eyes are filled with surprise.

He grins and kisses her cheek as his excitement gets the best of him. She slips her arms around his neck, resting her forehead against his temple and dropping a kiss to his cheekbone. Puck tilts his head against hers, closing his eyes as he makes his way back up the aisle with her in his arms, reveling in the feel of this moment, not wanting to forget it, ever.

"Finally," he murmurs to her.

"Finally," she repeats.
