hoping against hope that I could say what I wanted to say
I'd reprimand you, pain shown in your eyes so blue.
I wanted to say that it wasn't true.
But you were you and I was I.
It was me who made you cry.
It was always the same.
But you were never the one to blame.
My heart would stop
before you reached the top
Though neither of us knew
Did you care for me too?
I wanted to say how proud you made me.
I wanted to speak of the hope you gave me.
If only i had time to say all thses things
If only you could know what it all truly means
