"Seriously, I'm asking her tonight."

"Are you sure, Prongs? Because you've said that the last ten nights."

"Um, they weren't perfect. This time I have it all set up. What do you think, Moony?"

"I think, as long as Wormtail gets to the park in time, you should be fine. Why can't he use a Portkey, Pads?"

"I've already said it a hundred times. The soufflé will collapse if he brings it via Portkey. And the bike is out as well, too many vibrations."

"Ugh, come on you two. Enough with the googly eyes about Sirius's bike. No one is going on that thing after we heard about last weekend! Now, let's run through this one more time."

"Prongs, we've been over it. Look, at this point I might as well get it tattooed on my arse!"

"Really, again with the stuff I don't wanna hear."

"Get over yourself, Pete. I'm just messing with Potter. He looks like he's gonna cry."

"I'm not gonna cry! I just... You guys don't get it. What if she says no? My heart can't take it."

"She won't say no. I mean? We are definitely off limits, and the only other boy she's talked to, and not hexed to hell and back every other day, is Snivellus. And, that guy might as well go jump off a bridge for the chance he has with her."

"Geez, thanks Sirius. So I'm her only choice, and that's the only reason she'll pick me?"

"Couldn't you accept a compliment just this once?"

"That was not a compliment, Pads, it was an ultimatum. Marry me, or be a spinster."

"She'll marry you. You just better hope Pete doesn't drop the soufflé with the ring on his way."

"Don't worry, Potter, I have been working on infusing the bubble head charm with a cushioning charm. It will float there like the light and fluffy confection it is."

"Thanks Pete. I knew I could trust you to get this right."

"Hey, what am I, chopped liver?"

"No, Moony, you're the poor sod that has to keep Big Mouth—sorry! I mean, Sirius company while he waits with the champagne."

"That's right, James. You know you can trust me with the libations!"

"Or, maybe… if I didn't give you alcohol, you might just think you are too cool to jump out from behind the tree in the park to congratulate Lily and I on our engagement."

"Well, you're not my best friend for nothing, Potter. Okay, you can count on me. Remus, though, might be too busy thinking about our ride last week to pay attention to your little love play. Ow!"

"Shut up, Pads! It's not my fault, that bike is… exhilarating."

"That's what she said."

"Ugh, you two. Get a room, but only after I get engaged. Merlin, I can't believe I'm getting engaged today."

"I can't believe this is the eleventh time we've done this."

"I can't believe you expect me to sit behind that tree for half an hour while you prattle on about how amazing she is."

"I can't believe you're trusting me with the ring."
