Kiara's pov
It was December 14th at camp. Kiara was supposed to be at the 21st nome with all the other 'blood of the pharos' but she didn't care. She wanted to be there for the first time her boyfriend, Nico Di Angelo, saw snow. Nico had seen snow before. but when he had he hadn't been able to play in it because he went to a military school.(I think thats were Percy Annabeth Thalia and Grover found him) And, in Kiara's strong Minnesotan opinion, you hadn't lived until you screamed 'snowball fight!' and chucked one at your friend.
Someone tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around to see Tarmi(Her best friend), Travis Stoll(Tarmi's boyfriend), Gwen(Her little sister's friend from the Aphrodite cabin), Hana(Her little sister), and Felix(Her sister's penguin crazed boyfriend)(Because I decided that they are together). Tarmi and travis both wore hats, sweat shirts, thin knit gloves, and snow boots. Gwen wore a bright pink snow jacket, pink snow boots that laced up and were lined with fake fur(which she probably had to assure to Hana and their nymph friends), pink ear muffs, and pink mittens. Kiara looked away. Too much pink!
What really caught my attention was what Hana and Felix were wearing. They both wore wool hats with animal faces on them. Hana's was a pink cat(she's hosting Bast)and Felix's was a blue and white Pinguin. Felix wore a blue coat with a penguin on it. Hana's was pink with a cat. Felix wore navy blue mittens, Hana wore pink mittens with wight claw marks. Hana's boots matched Gwen's exactly, Felix's matched theirs except they where bright orange. "Your matching," Kiara said to my sister and her boyfriend "How cute." They all laughed at Her.
"What are you building the wall for, sis?" Travis asked.
"Don't call me sis." Kiara said annoyed
"Well then how come Hana does?"
"Because our mortal parents are married"
"But I'm your godly bro!"
"To answer your question." Kiara changed the subject, "I'm ambushing Nico." She added another snowball to the snow wall she was building.
"How cute," Tarmi said "Kiara is ambushing Nico with mistletoe and kisses"
The snowball Kiara threw hit Tarmi in the side of the head with deadly accuracy. "I'm ambushing him with snowballs, you idiot. Some times I wonder how we're all related."
"Oh that's easy! We're all misfits neglected by out parent's"
"Shut up! Nico's coming!" they all knelt behind the wall.
Nico 1st person pov
I walked out of the Hades cabin and several cold, wet, wight things hit me in the face. "ambush!" Felix shouted. Kiara walked over and kissed me. I wiped off my face and said "Thanks for giving me a good first experience with snow!" She giggled "Welcome!"
"Lovebirds against everybody else!"Tarmi yelled. I got hit in the face with another 5 snowballs.
