Though smiling as I ran up the steps my thoughts weren't so happy, he may not have known it but I knew who he was and I knew what was happening. But I didn't say a word, when choosing one last day with your beloved what day would you choose. A day when she knew everything and would only cry as you said your last goodbyes, or would you choose before it all began, a day when she would smile and say goodbye and not know what it really meant.
He choose that day, and I let him, I gave him that smile he was defying death to see, and when he turned and stumbled away in pain I let the tears finally fall as I listened to the ood sing him to sleep. As the song ended I felt a hand grab mine in a gentle grip, "He will be ok Rose", I turned away from the fading Tardis slowly and faced him, the one who crossed universes to get me back, my best friend, my doctor. "I know", pulling me inside he grinned cheekily and said "Come on, we've got to run", "Where?", "Anywhere we want".
And so we did
Anywhere, Anyplace, Anytime
& we never stopped.
So yeah, this is just a daydream I had today about David Tennants last episode. I have always been a Rose fan so I would've like to see her in more seasons (can't wait for the 50th anniversary). In case you didn't figure it out she's talking to the eleventh doctor (or 12th, depending on what happens in the anniverary episode), so the Matt Smith one and yeah, hope you liked it. :)
