"How could you let him get hurt so badly? You let him go by his self after Slade without anyone. How could you let him go without me?" questioned the auburn haired girl. Her hands were on her hips and she was glaring at Cyborg as he tried to explain what had happened. Raven and Beastboy were sitting on the couch watching Starfire confront Cyborg.

"Come on Star, give him a break!" said Beastboy "He couldn't do anything about it. Robin is really hard to keep away from Slade. He gets all, you know, coo coo in the head."

"Robin is not the coo coo in the head! He is Robin. He a person who never goes the giving up and he never hurts people. He is not crazy. I'm going to go talk to him." She stated as she walked out the living room to his room. She walked up to his door and stopped before knocking. "What if he wants to be alone?" she questioned herself. Right after she was about to walk away, she heard a familiar voice call out, "Starfire, is that you?" She turned around and walked into Robin's room. "Yes, it is I. I was coming to check on you and ask you a question." She replied. She shut the door behind her and walked up to the bed where Robin lied. She examined his body to see all the cuts and bruises everywhere, even on his handsome face. She couldn't help but look away.

"Starfire, I'm sorry" he said

"May I ask why?"

"I left after everyone told me not to. You and everyone else warned me about how dangerous it would be to go alone but I just, didn't listen. I am really sorry I made you worry so much. But I wanted to go by myself to keep you all out of danger. After last time when he put those probes in you, I was angry with my self for letting you get hurt!" he yelled at himself. He looked up and saw Star's eyes twinkle with hope.

"I am very happy that you told me all of these things, Robin." She said as she walked closer to his bedside. "I am glad that u wish to protect me." She bent over the bedside to hug him but the she realized she might hurt him, so she backed away.

"It's alright Star, it won't hurt me. I'm a tough guy, I can take a hug." He said as he bent up to he was sitting on his bed. She sat next to him and hugged him. As they hugged, he quietly said "I love you Starfire, I truly do." She turned around.

"What did you say?" she questioned.

"Uhh… nothing! Really! I was uhh... Breathing?" He said in a panic. He quickly turned around so she couldn't him blush, but she saw it anyway.

"I heard what you said Robin, and I have something to tell you also." She put her lips by his ear and whispered "I love you too" and then she got up and walked toward the door. Before she opened it to leave she said, "I will be waiting for you to get better. I know you will soon." Then she walked out the door
