AN written for the blizzard that I had for today.
"My god look outside!" Connor shouted with childlike glee. The team ran over to the window and gasped at the world outside. Around the ARC snow whipped through the air..The ground was covered in drifts of it. Connor than ran to the doors and opened them. Snow soon filled the hallway
everyone soon shared a look before they ran off to get their coats.
Passing drivers gave strange looks when they saw a group of adults playing in the snow. Abby ducked down behind a wall of snow to escape the onslaught of snowballs. Across from her Connor was being pelted by snow by Becker who had broke from his professional look and like the rest of the team became like children again. Suddenly an enormous chunk of snow came down on him. Spinning around he saw Sarah standing with a shovel full of snow. Danny stood next to her with a leaf blower that now was picking up a tornado of the powder. Connor stood up
"That's cheating!" he exclaimed before the duo lunged out at him. Laughing Abby got up and tried to fend off Sarah and Danny off. Soon she realized that as excited Connor had been about the snow he as awful to have on your team. Right now Danny had him backed up against a wall and was blowing snow into his face. Sarah was bent over laughing and had dropped her shovel. Abby was about to sneak forward and grab it when she saw Becker walking up behind her. He grabbed her making Sarah scream before he tossed her into a snow drift. She soon popped up covered in snow. At this time Abby grabbed the shovel. Sarah than scrambled out of the drift before taking off. But Becker was used to running in any condition. And soon he was right behind Sarah. He grabbed her again and held her on the ground while Abby dumped snow on top of her. Sarah was still laughing but it was cut off often by the snow getting in her mouth. Soon she was covered in the snow and Abby dropped the shovel. She helped Sarah up and after mimicking a dog like shake off she quite forcefully knocked Abby down and before she knew it Becker was holding her down too while Sarah reclaimed her weapon.
With the sun setting and the team soaking wet they abandoned their war zone. They head back to their cars. Suddenly Danny's phone began to ring.
"Hello?" he answered
"Quinn would you mind telling me why my field team isn't here?" the sharp words of Lester were heard by everyone.
"Snow day."Danny answered and not wanting to be lectured her hung up.
AN well yesterday 20 inches of snow were dropped where I live along with sixty mile per hour winds. So I was inspired to write this! Review!
