The Pokemon Journeys
Prologue
It was late one night as a Taillow flew though Sliverleaf Forest. His blue feathers glistened in the moonlight as he flew on. Just then he heard a loud screech and turned to see a Skarmory heading on him at top speed. The young Taillow flew off and the Skarmory followed. He flew behind a tree hoping to be safe there. But the steel bird gained speed and Steel Winged the tree. The Taillow sped off with the Skarmory hot on it's tail. Seeing it could not get away the Taillow fought. He used a Quick Attack. But the Skarmory moved out of the way. Skarmory then flew for a head-on Steel Wing. The attack hit and the Taillow fall. He landed on the ground far below.
