Artemis Crock lay awake, eyes wide open, concealer covering-up her HUGE big black bags of sleep under her eyes.
The burning-hot feeling of Wally's body leaning onto hers was unbearably amazing, but, Artemis couldn't feel it for a second, as her eyes closed and she had a weird and wonderful dream...

First, she saw her father and hugged him, tears drooling down her cheeks at his unusually loving, exotic embrace, slightly like Dick's when they'd been going out for, like, two hours or less!

Artemis remembered when her father had divorced to her mother when she was only six years old. From then on, six had always been her unlucky number. She then remembered her father crying his heart out afterwards, swearing and cursing, yelling that he wanted to kill himself!
He was heartbroken and lost forever, all because of his stupid, wicked job of...KILLING PEOPLE... Artemis had to live with her mother, who hated her father like mad!

Artemis' mother was in so much pain, she broke her own legs, right in front of her own daughter, which made Artemis decide the least favourite part of her body were her legs.
Then she swore she'd never, EVER fall in love. What. A. Lie!

IF IT DOES NOT EXIST...
But then Artemis became an assassin, then ran away from her past, went to join Young Justice and met Wally West, the rubbish comedian, the rubbish flirt, the rubbish sportsman...her missing puzzle piece. Ever since Biayla, things had changed. Dick had grown seriously to Artemis, but as in her body, not herself, of course. Wally loved all of her, every single bit.
Wally was the ONLY EXCEPTION for Artemis.
