"Hey Alex, I just wanted to say good luck for tomorrow when you start your basic training. I'm really proud of you for getting this far in CHERUB. Yes it is going to be hard but at least you won't have Mr Large, making you stick you head in a grave that you've had to dig and refill so many times. Do you know how much that hurts you back?"
I had to interrupt him, he had told me this story a million times I don't won't to hurt his feelings so I just say "Is mum about?" he stops talking and gets the message " sorry I was taking a trip down memory lane... Ok Il pass her over" I say thanks to him and talk to mum, she seems happy to talk. She kept going on about how proud she was for me and gives me a few tips "if your friends have a weakness support them and if you have any trust me my girl they will help you and shave some of your hair, it may be a shock but it will be easier to clean and will stay out the way of your face. Another this is if you get things done quickly you will have that little extra time to rest. Always wash out your t-shirt use it to wipe yourself off then wash it again, it will be freezing but it's a lot better than having mud on your shirt all day, it itches like hell, you won't have time to was out your trousers but always wring the water out of your socks because you don't want trench foot do you honey"
I had to admit I was pretty nervous, so me and the gang decided to have a bit of fun because it was only 7:30, we all went into Katie's room, this was only because she had a room in the main building and not in the junior block, because me and her had shared but there was not enough room in the junior block so we got moved, but we didn't mind because we had opposite rooms.
On the bed was me, Katie, Jenny, and S.J (Sanna Jouque). On the floor and beanbag was Richard, Sammie, Tabby, Rachael and Jack.
Jenny, S.J, Sammie and Richard were all grey shirts as they had all completed basic training. So that meant me, Katie, Tabby, Rachael and Jack would all do it this time.
We had a vote on which film to watch, the boys voted on Lord of the Rings but us girls wanted to watch Harry Potter and in the end we watched that. It ended at about half nine so we went our separate ways and went to sleep.
