Prologue
She screamed. The force of the blow made her head snap back. She felt her body crumple in on itself only to be picked up again by his grotesque hands around her throat. She could feel her lungs straining against her chest, trying to get the nourishment they needed. As her eyes started to slip close, against her will, she heard his final words to her, "Goodbye Annie. I hope you never wake up ever again."
