What was she thinking before he was born?
A/N: We're never really explained what Sil was thinking about during her time in the underground cave system after escaping from the tunnel system. Here's what I believed was going through her mind.
As she climbed out of the water and entered the cave system, the human/alien hybrid known as Sil pressed against the cave wall as she felt something new happening inside her womb. She knew the baby was growing after a successful copulation with the man she killed after he fulfilled the role necessary to bring her child into this world, but she didn't expect it to grow so quickly. Her belly was starting to push out and expand in girth and mass. And worse was that the process was hurting her. It was hurting worse than when she cocooned and grew up or when she cut off her thumb or jumped out of a moving car.
"Aah!" She growled, and felt her baby trying get out of her. "Aaah! Gaah!"
Then, when she felt like she couldn't take any more of her pregnancy, her chest ripped open…and her newborn emerged from her. There was a moment of relief that came as the baby started crying, and Sil picked it up and began to nurse. Already was her body regenerating from the birth, but her consciousness couldn't erase the pain she felt while being pregnant, and her thoughts were mixed between pride and agony, unsure of whether or not she would attempt such an impulse a second time.
