Marley wrapped her arms around Jake's neck, their lips meeting immediately.
As they parted, the cool auditorium air hit their saliva covered lips.
"I…I love…this song."
The girl pulled away from Jake and walked towards the piano.
The boy placed a hand on his girlfriend's forearm.
"Marley, please tell me what's wrong. I know there's something more. I can see it in your eyes."
Marley looked down at her feet and pulled her arm away from Jake.
"I just…just don't think this song is right for Regionals."
The brunette turned back to the piano and began absent mindedly rummaging through sheet music.
"Marley, please stop."
She continued to flip papers, "But I need to find a great song for Regionals so people will stop hating me."
The boy put his palms on Marley's cheeks the turned her to face him.
"Just take a break, Marley. Nobody hates you."
"Yes they do. I ruined Sectionals for them so I need to-"
Jake closed the space between him and his girlfriend, silencing her rambling.
"Look at me, Baby. We don't hate you, especially not me."
Marley rested her head on her boyfriend's chest, "I don't hate you either."
Jake smiled to himself as she wrapped his arms around the brunette's lower back.
"Good because Marley," the girl looked into his eyes, his grip on her tightening.
Jake's breath hitched as he lost himself in Marley's eyes.
"I love you."
There was a comfortable silence as Marley let a smile slowly creep onto her face.
"I love you back."
Jake relaxed and kissed Marley yet again.
Both looked happier than they had ever been.
"I love you. I love you. I love you," Jake repeated.
"I know you love me and I love you, too."
"Now that you know, I have to tell you every chance I get."
Marley smiled as Jake wrapped an arm around her waist and began walking to the choir room.
"I love you," they said in synchronization, taking seats next to each other as glee club began.
A/N: I'm thinking about continuing this one so please let me know if you think I should. Thanks! 3 JARLEY~
