Disclaimer: I don't own Lost

Something I thought I'd write up while working on my other fic.

plot: When the sun goes down, Sun finds herself lost due to the separation between herself and her husband. When the sun goes down she lays with the monster.

When the sun went down, so did Sun, and she hated herself for it. Jin was not yet here as he was still trapped on the island, while she was living like an empty shell. There were promises made, and lies to follow. The monster promised to make it better, to reunite them.

The wait was too long. It didn't matter that the answer may come the next day; she needed Jin now.

She was alone. When the sun went down she contacted the monster. Ben Linus showed up outside her hotel door. The monster in human form had said so many lies, and had twisted their lives with horrific results. Why would she summon him now?

She gave him a quick once over before pulling him into the room. He barely had a chance to say her name before she allowed her lips to crash against his own. She raised her arms around the monster's shoulders. The kiss was passionate, yet there was no passion.

The monster did not heed to her commands immediately. He pulled away and stared at her in shock. Sun gave him nothing as she stared back. She would lie with her actions, in the way he had lied with his own. The monster heeded to her desires when she commanded it. Suddenly it was not Ben's hands moving under her shirt, or hoisting her onto his hips-it was Jin's.

Jin laid her across the bed, but the monster ripped away her clothes. Jin's fingers traveled delicately along her thigh and cupped her breasts, but the monster planted harsh kisses against her neck. Jin gently laid atop her, but the monster held down her arms.

The passionless kisses continued. Her eyes were never open to the monster. The sun had gone down and there was enough darkness within the room. The monster entered her domain, and all was lost.

When the sun came up to Sun's surprise, the monster still laid with her. He was not Jin; Ben was not Jin. He had fallen asleep, covering her form as if he were protecting her, or rather keeping her for himself. There was no controlling this monster. He used and abused, however, in this case she had used him.

There would be no words passed when she woke the monster. She would dismiss him, and he would return to the dark hole from whence he came. She would not summon him again. No matter how many times he ran his fingers through her hair.
