I'm In The Dark
Something random since I'm in another writing jam… Haven't seen Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuuutsu except one episode where Asakura Ryoko becomes my favorite hands down. "Ja, shinde?" is my favorite phrase from now on.
Summary: A cornucopia of information would arrive and light up her world if she just was patient…
Disclaimer: I do not own Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu.
From my keen observations, I know you will do
From analyzing, not acting, I need something new
This world has grown stale, inanimate and still
It needs something more, I haven't my fill
Your interaction affects her and the result
You take her ideas with a small grain of salt
It has grown old, or so I've been told
She needs a push from something quite bold
My world is dark, the numbers the same
I will include you, Kyon, in my little game
She cares for you much, though she admits it not
The excitement, the bizarre, is what she has sought
You see, dear Kyon, you're the perfect one
This data observation will be so much fun
Slicing by blade I will open the seal
Mountains of data that must be revealed
How will she act?
What will she feel?
I assure you, in fact,
That this is quite real
Shedding blood is not purely gore
Information, a catalyst, more data, much more!
Will she be angered? Will she be sad?
Maybe in fact she will be quite glad!
Now where could I start?
Oh, let's try the heart!
A cut here and there
I could strip your arms bare
It will spill to the floor
Will Haruhi mourn?
It will stain the blackboard
How the data will pour!
This exchange for your life
This is not done in strife
So feel free to scream
It will cause a grand scene!
Oh, how interesting her existence will be
A shame that you will not live to see
For this static subject, you are the key
And you only pay a small, tiny fee!
Forfeit your life for the greater good
It is your duty, you know that you should
Do not resist, do not ask why
We will simply smile, this knife and I
I will wait for you here, as the sun sets
Surely my letter is void of such threats
The door will open and you will arrive
The last room you step in, truly alive
Is it best to do what you think is right,
Regardless of outcome? That is my plight
You are the light to fuel the data left dark
The end of your life, the ignition, the spark
No doubt you will ask me, stuttering, "But why?"
Now come now, before more time passes me by
I can tell, from your chest your heart wants to fly
Just from these words, "So, please die?"
