Halloween Kidnapping

by Starsinger

What happens when Susan Storm decides she wants company for Trick or Treating? Well, you'll see. Nope, still don't own them.

It started at 8 am on Halloween in England. Brian suddenly noticed that Meggan and his young son, Andrew, were missing. He scratched his head and decided that she had taken the baby out to find a costume, as he headed off with the rest of Excalibur for training.

Across the pond, Peter awoke to find Kitty and the twins gone. Around the world, female mutants and humans friendly toward those with super-powers, disappeared. Wives, girl-friends, aunts, an occasional grand-mother, and most mysteriously, a dragon simply weren't there.

Unfortunately for the students at Xavier's, it was a Wednesday, and they spent an hour being run into the ground by Wolverine instead of in Advanced Computational Theories. Calls came in from around the world and the only place that a disappearance hadn't occurred was at the Baxter Building. Then, again, nobody was picking up at the Baxter Building.

Finally, later that evening, word came from England that a flight of witches and other ghouls had raided Braddock Manor. Candy and other goodies disappeared from their bowls. When Peter finally caught up with his wife and daughters, Kitty had dressed up as a fairy god-mother and the twins were tiny princesses. Lockheed, much to his dismay, was a bumble-bee. He grumbled, but Susan Storm, both her kids in tow, announced that he looked adorable and they had plenty of pictures. Peter thought the poor animal was going to go hide at that point.

"I've always loved Halloween," Susan told Logan. "I thought, since all these new babies were being born this year, I'd share that love."

And, as Halloween is also my favorite holiday, Trick or Treat!
