Sonny Munroe was making a list in her dressing room of all the things her and Chad could be.
Friends
They couldn't be friends they fought too often:
"Fine."
"Fine."
"Good."
"Good."
"So are we good?"
"Oh we're so good."
Enemies
They couldn't be enemies they cared too much:
"Looks like somebody cares."
"Somebody just wanted to try on a weird beard."
"Cares."
"Beards."
"Cares."
"Beards."
"Beards."
"Cares."
"Gotcha"
Acquaintances
They couldn't be acquaintances they meant too much to each other:
"So do you really think I have pretty hair?"
"I dunno. Do you really think I have sparkly eyes?"
"I dunno. Well one of them is."
Couple
They weren't dating, simple as
Engaged
Do I even have to explain?
Married
Only in their fantasies and seriously? There only 18!
Friends with benefits
They've never kissed, well except for that one time by accident that neither of them will admit to…
"If I was on a fake date would I do this?" She asked as she slapped her hand around Chad's mouth only to remove it seconds later, unnoticed by her friends.
Frenemies
They weren't really friends, just civil so civnmies?
"This is sweet."
"I have my moments."
Crushes
They didn't (openly) like each other.
"I don't like Chad!" She replied in a high pitch voice then in a lower tone "I mean, I don't like Chad."
"I don't like Sonny, where, where'd you get that idea from?" He asked nervously.
That was it on the list.
"Knock, knock." Speak of the devil.
"What do you want, Chad?"
"No need to get your knickers in a twist, just come to see my favourite Random."
After a slight awkward pause, the brunette comedy actress broke the silence by asking:
"Chad, what are we?"
"We're us." He smiled.
"That's all well and good but there is no way of describing our relationship!"
"I've got no idea what we are. But I know what I'd like to be." He whispered hoarsely, leaning in and slowly connecting their lips. "See you." He winked.
"Wait, does that mean he wants to be friends with benefits or a couple or something else?" She asked herself once he had left.
