Hermione sat in the couch, doing the usual daily reading. She heard a noise and looked to see a letter on the table. She looked, it was addressed to her, but yet it didn't say who it was from. She opened up the letter and read it. Her tears going down her face as she held a letter in her hand. She reread the letter many times but yet, she still didn't get. First off it didn't say who it was from, and it had just magically appeared on top of the common room table. She looked at the letter one more time before she heard the door to one of the boy;d dormitories open and close. She looked to see flashing red hair come down. As Ron sat down next to her, he tears streamed down her face harder then ever. She tried to look at him, but yet she felt disgusted. She moved over and away from Ron, hoping that at least she would be able to hide the letter from him.

"Hermione what's wrong? Why are you crying?" He asked as he got closer to her. He tried to put her arm around her but she shrugged it off and pushed him away. He looked at her with a confused face. "Hermione tell me what's wrong. And why do you have that letter in your hand."

Hermione looked at him, wiping the tears from her eyes. She got up and looked at him. A look of hatred upon her face. "Do you want to know why I'm crying Ronald? Do you really want to know what this letter says? It says how you have been a git to me. How you went behind my back and cheated on me with Lavender Brown. How you got her pregnant and that's the reason she left Hogwarts. Do you have any idea how much this hurts me? I have spent my whole life trying not to get into any kind of trouble. Then you come along and I fall in love with you. I trusted you, I loved you. But yet you went behind my back and cheated on me. Worse you got someone pregnant. I hate you Ronald Weasly, and I never want to see you in my life again!" As she let her anger out, the tears continued to roll down her face. She walked away, but wasn't successful because Ron grabbed her. She looked at him and started screaming.

People ran into the common room, frightened at the scream. Ron embarrassed at the site, held Hermione and tried to make her sit down. But yet, she refused to sit and continued struggling. Ron's grip grew tighter as she fought to get out. Hermione yelped in pain and yelled at Ron. "Ron your hurting me let go!"

"Not until we talk Hermione." His grip grew stronger on her arms with every word. His face reddened.

"Ron let go your hurting me." People looked at them, getting worried. They had never seen these two in this state. Hermione yet continued to struggle, but yet she couldn't get loose. Next thing she knew, she was being thrown on top of the couch. Ron went above her and raised his arm, his fist closed. He brought it down, but a hand ceased him. He turned around to see Harry and next thing, he was on the floor conscienceless. Hermione looked at Harry who had punched Ron. She got up from the couch and ran out of the common room. She ran from the seventh floor all the way to the Great Hall. She ran out of the doors and towards the lake. As she ran, she didn't intend to stop. She wanted to die. Life wasn't what she thought. It wasn't treating her right. Nothing ever went her way. No one ever liked her for just her. They always used her. She planned to go into the lake and just drown herself along with her misery. As she ran getting closer and closer to the lake, she felt herself hit a soft figure. She opened her eyes to see a boy of her age, holding her tight. She grabbed his arms and snugged herself into him. She rested her head on his chest, and looked up to see...
