A/N: I was busy writing this and thinking about my new story. Okay, maybe not, but oh well. Enjoy!
DISCLAIMER: If I owned CSI: Miami, I'd be really rich…
He wakes up every morning
And watches the sun rise.
He smiles and gives a warm welcome
With sunglasses and a sigh.
Miami is his one home
That he knows inside and out
His name's Lieutenant Horatio Caine
There's a name that he won't shout.
All of Miami knows him
For his skill and intellect
There are numbers who adore him
And there are some who do in regret.
There are murders in Miami
That we think cannot be solved.
That's just a bunch of lies and such
Because the CSIs are called.
H. has a place in his heart for them
No matter what they do
It's a special type of way to say
He loves "each and every one of you."
There's Calleigh, the gun expert
With her bright and warming smile
A Southern beauty, to be sure
Who could be seen from miles.
Next is Eric, diving expert
Whose specialty is love
He's always there for someone
Like and angel or a dove.
Alexx Woods, examiner
A woman like no other.
She comforts the dead loved ones
Just like she was their mother.
Who could forget dearest Tim Speedle?
He was cocky, yet quite kind.
From when he died, his legacy still lives
In his heart and mind.
Ryan Wolfe's a sweetheart
And everyone knows why.
He's in love with Calleigh Duquesne
And Horatio doesn't mind.
Natalia Boa Vista
Is one of those girls he knows
He knows that he can trust her
Even if she was a mole
Yelina is a special one
That even Horatio can't defer
An impact on his life, he knows.
The light of his life is her.
Funny how Rick Stetler
Could play into all of this
Horatio cannot stand him.
That lowly son of a bitch.
Why, you ask? Even I don't know
There's something about his ways.
That sends a shiver up our spines.
That Horatio just puts up with for days.
These dreams become a reality
Once the sun rises over all.
And I know Miami's safe from
All the demons that come to call.
Yet I do not have to worry
About living here today.
Because that's what dreams are made of.
Horatio Caine watches over me.
That's all I've got to say.
A/N: Oh, please say I did well with this. It's my first poetry attempt at CSI: Miami, and I'm worried about how it turned out! Feedback, please and thank you!
