I watch Holly over the cup of my coffee. She moves around the kitchen plating the last few pieces of our breakfast. A plate comes to rest in front of me before Holly joins me in my caffeine aided staring contest. Neither of us break eye contact. We love a challenge and this is a simple one. Holly's lopsided smile begins to slowly form as she continues looking at me. Her eyebrow raises in quiet challenge. My eyebrows furrow in concentration. Holly knows what that smile does to me and when it is combined with that eyebrow . It is just playing dirty.

"Lunchbox." Knowing that my nickname for her helps soften her up.

"Officer." Holly is not letting down either. Good. I wouldn't like her as much if she did. I raise my cup to take another drawn out sip. Holly mimics my movements exactly. Even down the finishing lick of her lips.

"How long are we going to do this?" I ask, my eyes not wavering.

"As long as you keep looking at me like that."

"Like what?"

"Like you are deciding whether you are going to climb up a tree and get stuck or reach across this table and kiss me." Holly smile grows slightly at her last thought.

I fight hard to keep my features unreadable. I definitely know which one I have decided but that doesn't mean I can't have a little fun. "And if it's the tree?" I challange.

"Hmm… well then I'll just have place some cheese puffs and bourbon at the bottom and wait for you to find your way down."

"Good answer."

"I know, right." Holly slow lifts her hands from the table and places them on the buttons of her shirt. Her fingers nimbly work the first one free.

"Hol, what are you doing?"

"Nothing. Just keep doing what you're doing." Her brown eyes start to darken but never leave my blue ones. As the second button escapes, my concentration begins to slip. I can't resist her. Once the third is free, I can see her black bra. Shit, I'm in trouble.

I readjust my hands on my coffee cup, hoping that its heat will help me focus. My tongue darts across my suddenly dry lips. The heat bites into my fingers and palms but I still have to take in a deep breath. As Holly's shirt falls open, my knuckles turn white. I think if I grip any harder, this mug will shatter.

Holly's full blown smile has turn into a passionate stare. I groan internally. She's won but if I'm going down, she is coming with me. My chair scrapes across the floor as I stand. My eyes never leave Holly's now almost black ones. Her eyes begin to show confused desire. A smirk of my own pulls at my lips. I stalk towards her. My fingers trail along with me across the table as I make my way around the wooden square.

Holly's head turns as I reach her, allowing her eyes to follow me. I place my hands on her thighs. Each hand slowly drags across her jeans on a trail upwards. Once they reach her hips, they move off of her and onto the chair. I turn her chair with a quick burst of speed allowing Holly's whole body to be in front of me. The rise and falls of her chest quicken. I straddle the chair. My hands slide Holly's shirt off of her chest as I settle my weight into her lap. My palms work their way back up her arms to rest behind her head.

Our lips connect in a searing kiss. Our moans are stifled by the other's. Our tongues dual for dominance. I reluctantly release her mouth. I can't help but smirk when I find Holly's eyes closed.

"I was going to win," she let's out in a long, deep breath.

"I know. If you were going to take me down Nerd, you were coming with me."

Her head tilts to the side as she briefly thinks the words over. "That's fair. So, I take it no trees for you?"

My lips move to ghost along her ear. "No more words." Her shake from desire brings my smirk back. It is whipped away by her quick turn of my head and crashing lips. There were definitely no more words after that.
