"Alright you ready for another scare big guy?" Mike asked his partner as they walked into work together.

Sully chuckled. "Ready and rarin'!"

Mike set up their station and gave Sully a pat on the back. "You go get 'em."

Neither monster took any notice to the deep shade of blue that the door was; nor did they care about the sign on the left.

Sully opened the door gently and stepped inside. It was brighter than usual, seeing as he normally caught the kids at night and scared them while they were sleeping.

There was a large tube and sort of . . . control station in the center of the room, and there was no bed. Sully looked around in confusion and was just about to duck back out to tell Mike this door was broken when he heard a voice.

"Hello!"

Sully spun around and got in a fighting stance. He was now facing a human-looking man wearing a brown suit and glasses. His arms were crossed and he was advancing towards Sully. Sully started backing up, still in his fighting stance.

"Now what are you doing here?" The man asked. "And you opened the door too, not many people just walk in here."

"Uh . . ." Sully was speechless. He had absolutely no idea what was going on. Who was this man? Why was there no bedroom and no children for him to scare? Most importantly, back to the mysterious man, why was he talking to him?

"And what are you? I've never seen anything like you before. What planet are you from?" The man continued advancing towards Sully and muttering to himself.

Finally, the man stopped talking when the unexpected happened. Mike came through the small blue doors calling to Sully, "What's taking you so long? Is it faulty or something?"

Mike stopped in his tracks when he noticed what was happening on the other side of the door.

"Oh," he said.

"Mike," Sully said out of the side of his mouth. "Get it."

"Get it?" The man asked, obviously hearing everything. "No, please don't get it, that would be very rude of you. Coming into my home and threatening me? That's very rude. And what ever happened to the 'it's bigger on the inside' bit? i always loved that bit."

The two monsters looked at each other in shock and fear.

"What's it saying?" Mike asked.

"I don't know," Sully responded.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm the Doctor. I'm a timelord."

"Uh . . ."

It was obvious this wasn't going to be easy. The Doctor wasn't used to dealing with other species the way he was with humans. Perhaps he should just show them out and be on his way?

"Yes, that's probably the best option," the Doctor muttered to himself. He walked briskly to the two monsters and grabbed their arms. He took them back to the door, babbling all the way.

"You know, I really should be getting on my way. I don't have the time for this. Well, I am a timelord, I suppose I could have all the time in the world. Well, as much as I wanted anyway. I must be going. I'd love to stay and cha but you two don't seem to be very interested in that." The Doctor shoved them out the door and waved. "Too-da-loo!"

Mike and Sully stood staring at the door as it closed and then proceeded to slowly fade away, accompanied by a loud grinding sound. After a few seconds, Mike and Sully looked at each other, then the arms that had been touched by the Doctor, and started screaming.

"CODE 2319! CODE 2319!"
