It was official. Ryoma and Sakuno had been dating for a month, and it was their anniversary. Ryoma huffed in annoyance as his sempais showered him with gifts. What was so great about the day anyway? All Ryoma was interested about was getting away from his annoying sempais.

The cherry tree was where he found Sakuno, perusing a romance novel and barely glancing at him. If it was one thing he didn't like about them dating was that Sakuno had stopped the blushing and stuttering around him. He sat down by her. She blinked and then kept on reading. He sat there for a while until she finally set down her book and let out a wonder filled sigh.

"Ryoma-kun, don't you think romance novels are just so perfect."

"Tch."

"Mou, Ryoma-kun. Don't be so insensitive." Sakuno pouted prettily, and Ryoma pulled down his cap to keep her from seeing his blush.

She closed her eyes, a light flush of excitement staining her cheeks. "It was the greatest scene ever. The heroine was flung into the hero's arms by the villain, and the hero let the villain go as he nursed the heroine. Ahh…"

"Tch," Ryoma said, rolling his eyes slightly.

Sakuno let out an annoyed noise and patted her pocket. Leaning closer to Ryoma, she whispered, "Today is a very special day. I got you some sweets."

"I don't like chocolates…"

"Mou. Just try them," Sakuno said, making a puppy dog face.

"Tch."

Sakuno popped a sweet in her mouth and rolled it around, letting Ryoma see her obvious pleasure at eating the sweet. "Mmmmmmm."

Time stopped as Ryoma suddenly leaned in and captured Sakuno's lips. She flushed bright red.

"Tch. They're okay," Ryoma said. He rolled the taste around his mouth before turning away and picking up the box of chocolates. He handed it to Sakuno. Sakuno smiled.
