Summary: Masumi wishes everyone would stop calling him 'Chief'.
After capturing Son Goku's rod from Shizuka, Masumi glared at Souta & Eiji.
"Stop calling me that. Chief, Chief, you guys sure are annoying."
Back in his own room, Masumi was pondering. He was the chief in name, but it wasn't really him. i That was Akashi's job/i he thought to himself. i like it or not, Akashi will always be the chief. I'm just a substitute while he's off in space. I hope he realizes Sakura-neesan likes him, otherwise I'll have to go after him and pound some sense into him /i , he thought.
i Red's supposed to be the Chief, not Black /i . It just didn't feel right.
But he was sure of one thing. If the others didn't stop calling him 'Chief' soon, he was going to explode. It was simple. He just wasn't Chief, no matter what had happened to Akashi. Satoru would always be Chief, and the Immortal Fang. Masumi had given up trying to beat him, he knew it was hopeless.
i Careful, you two /i he thought of Akashi and Sakura-neesan in space. i We'll be waiting for you to come back, and then we'll be complete again /i , was his last thought as he went into the salon.
