Chapter 1
Gru pulled up at Willow Middle School with his daughter Margo eagerly peering nervously outside the window dressed in a light blue blouse and navy culottes.
Gru, noticing her nervous glances began to speak,
"Margo, are you okay? Come on dear, get out of the car."
"O..oka...okay," she trembled while hopping into Gru's arms and the onto the stone pavement.
Down here the school looked ten times more intimidating and massive than it had before. She could see some older children by the side of the high school building next to some basketball courts, they looked so much older than she was.
"Want me to walk you in?" Gru's voice seemed distant when in reality he was right next to her.
"No, it's fine. Im pretty sure I'll be able to find where to go. Thanks for the offer and see you later. Bye dad!" she said hazily while pulling Gru into warm hug before running up the path.
"Bye Margo." He called but she was to nervous and excited for her first day at school to hear him.
A/N: Sorry about the short chapter. This was an introduction to the school and her feelings about it. Next chapter I am going to get more into the social aspect and how people act towards her.
