Pokemon: The Abyss

Andrew was a kid who grew up without owning his own video games. His family was poor so he was lucky that he had TV. He lived in a small house out in the country. Eventually his mothers pay was lowered due to low sales. The day he moved to his new house, his mother had to go to pick some stuff up at there old house. Andrew decided to look around in his new room. Eventually he found a small hidden trap door in his closet. He opened it up and saw a cardboard box with the word GAMES written with black marker. He opened the box, hoping to see something like a Wii or and XBOX360. Instead he saw a Nintendo GameCube. He wasn't overjoyed as he knew how old they were. But he didn't complain. He dug deeper in the box and pulled out a black, cover-less game case. He opened the case, and inside was a game disk. The disk said Pokemon on the top and Platinum on the bottom, with a picture of Giratina staring at him from the middle of the disk. There was a sticker marking on it, as if somebody had poorly tried to take a sticker off it. He set the GameCube up to a small box TV that he kept in his room. He put the game in the GameCube and started playing. It opened but it didn't show the usual opening with a picture of Giratina with the shiny affect on it. Instead it just showed The words Pokemon Platinum Beta on the screen. He selected new game and begun to play.

About 2 weeks later, Andrew had reached the Giratina level. He started to play through it when he noticed a one block piece floating in the air. He stepped on it and it dissolved away and he fell through the void. With the limited knowledge of video games that he had, Andrew assumed it was just a secret that his friends didn't know about. In the place where the names of the routes and towns were displayed, it showed The Abyss. After about 10 seconds his character landed on a platform like the platforms in the actual level, but with a more red-ish hue. He walked along the long platform until he reached a ghost. It came up to Andrews character and said "...". Then a blurry image appeared on screen. It was to blurry to make out, but he continued on. He reached a second ghost. This one came up and said "Don't go on, or it will take you." Then a picture like the one before appeared, except this time it was less blurry. Andrew could just barely make out an image that looked like his character. He walked forward, more reluctantly than before. He reached a third ghost. It came up to him and said "He made us like this, our bodies lay where he lives." A picture just like the previous 2 came up, again less blurry than before. This time Andrew could make out red stains. Now Andrew was feeling kind of nervous to continue forward. He still went on. He reached yet another ghost. It walked up to him and said "It's to late. There's no use running away. He will get you. He seeks out those that last sees him." Very strangely, no picture came up. This time, Andrew didn't walk at all, but he moved forward anyway. His character reached a black blob in a more open area than the pathway behind him. A pair of wing shaped things came out of the blob. Andrew then realized that the black blob was Giratina. Its wings were splattered with red blobs, which Andrew assumed was blood. Giratina flew towards his character and covered him with its wings. Then Giratina disappeared. The screen went to black and the same image as before appeared, now crystal clear. It was a picture of his character lying on the ground, with circle shaped holes in his chest. Blood was dripping out from the holes. The screen cut to black again and then he was back at the loading screen. There was no continue button, only new game. From that point on, Andrew had still played the game, but he never went near the block again.
