Sun Ce sat at the edge of his bed gazing at the love of his life. Sprawled out over his bedding, Zhou Yu laid with his eyes closed as he was breathing at a slow yet rythmatic pace. His pale flesh glistened with the evidence of their previous love making in the candle light.
"I saw Xiao Qiao ride in today," he waited,Zhou Yu shifted to look at him through deep brown hair as a sign to continue, "she looks well."
"She is."
Sun Ce stood and crossed his room to the window that was over looking the palace grounds, "She's grown so much; perfect for giving you plenty of strong children."
"Please Sun Ce, I wish not to speak on this matter any longer."
"That is why you came to me, is it not?!" Sun Ce turned to look at his lover of two years as his body went rigid; only his eyes betrayed his strong disposition. "I don't want to lose you."
Zhou Yu stood and crossed the room and pressed his naked body against the other man. He could feel the warmth of his body through the folds of Sun Ce's robe. "You're not losing me, I'll always be here for you," he tugged on Sun Ce's goatee, "promise."
